What it is
Guests typically choose Bandra West for its balance of location and price; Hotel Ascot Neo A K Palace is a good fit if you want to be near the action in Mumbai.
Where it sits
Hotel Ascot Neo A K Palace is in Bandra West, at A G Link Road Near Asalfa Metro Station A G Link Road Mumbai, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 2 km from Terminal 2, 15 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 1 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 8 minutes to the airport, 53 minutes to Fort and 5 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

Staying in Bandra West
Pali Naka and the lanes behind it — Pali Mala Road, Union Park, Chapel Road — are the sweet spot: quiet, leafy, five minutes from Carter Road and ten from the restaurants, ₹9,000 to ₹16,000 for a good boutique double. Bandstand gets you sea-facing rooms at ₹15,000 to ₹28,000 and the shortest run to the Sea Link, which matters if your meetings are in Worli or Nariman Point. Turner Road and Hill Road are cheaper at ₹6,500 to ₹9,000 but noisy, with hawkers on the pavement until ten. Avoid anything on the S V Road side or immediately around Bandra station: that stretch is a permanent traffic knot, the guesthouses there are much older than their photographs, and the rickshaw stand outside the station runs a fare-refusal racket at night. Book at least three weeks ahead for any November-to-February date; Bandra sells out early.

What it costs
We do not hold a live rate for Hotel Ascot Neo A K Palace at the moment; hotels in Bandra West on our list start at about ₹4,800 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.
November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.
