What it is
From here, Mumbai's main attractions — including central Bandra West — are an easy walk or short ride away, so you spend less time in transit and more time exploring.
Because pricing is set live by the hotel and its suppliers, the figure shown here is a recent snapshot; check the current rate for your exact dates before booking.
Where it sits
LA Hotel Metro is in Bandra West, at Opposite Kurla Lion Garden, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 3 km from Terminal 2, 14 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 1 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 12 minutes to the airport, 49 minutes to Fort and 5 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

Staying in Bandra West
Pali Naka and the lanes behind it — Pali Mala Road, Union Park, Chapel Road — are the sweet spot: quiet, leafy, five minutes from Carter Road and ten from the restaurants, ₹9,000 to ₹16,000 for a good boutique double. Bandstand gets you sea-facing rooms at ₹15,000 to ₹28,000 and the shortest run to the Sea Link, which matters if your meetings are in Worli or Nariman Point. Turner Road and Hill Road are cheaper at ₹6,500 to ₹9,000 but noisy, with hawkers on the pavement until ten. Avoid anything on the S V Road side or immediately around Bandra station: that stretch is a permanent traffic knot, the guesthouses there are much older than their photographs, and the rickshaw stand outside the station runs a fare-refusal racket at night. Book at least three weeks ahead for any November-to-February date; Bandra sells out early.
More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Bandra West page.
What it costs
The most recent snapshot we hold for LA Hotel Metro starts at about ₹4,800 a night, against a median of about ₹4,800 for the Bandra West hotels on our list. That is a snapshot, not a quote: Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and the same room can double in the week of a large event.
November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

Ride shares and taxis and auto rickshaws generally available always. AC was cold. Don’t think there’s hot water but don’t really need that in Mumbai. There’s local…Utsav Saxena · 5/5

A Memorable Family Stay – Highly Recommended! I stayed here with my husband, father, and brother, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Before our trip, I called over 100 hotels asking for an early check-in, but none gave a clear “yes.” Most said it would depend on availability. However, Mr. Salmanbhai (the owner)…Pooja Jani · 5/5
