What it is

Guests typically choose Mahim for its balance of location and price; Hotel Al Saudia is a good fit if you want to be near the action in Mumbai.

Rates shift with the season and with demand, so the live price on the booking page is always the one to trust — tap through for tonight's or your dates' real availability.

Where it sits

Hotel Al Saudia is in Mahim, at Wanjawadi, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 6 km from Terminal 2, 11 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 4 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 22 minutes to the airport, 39 minutes to Fort and 15 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

What is included

The property lists 12 facilities. The ones that decide a booking are grouped below; anything unusual — early check-in, a late departure, a desk that takes a laptop — is worth confirming when you book, because listings and reality drift.

Staying in Mahim

The usable stock is on Lady Jamshedji Road and the lanes off Mori Road, both on the west side, five to ten minutes' walk from Mahim Junction. Expect ₹2,800 to ₹4,500 for a clean AC double with breakfast; ₹6,000 buys you the top of the market here and that is a business hotel near the Hinduja Hospital end of Veer Savarkar Marg, which is also the most useful address if you have early Coastal Road runs into town. Avoid anything advertised as being on the causeway itself — the traffic noise on Mahim Causeway runs from 5am to well past midnight and the buildings are old enough that the windows do nothing. Avoid the strip immediately behind Mahim station on the east side too; it is close to the Dharavi edge, perfectly safe by day, but poorly lit and confusing after dark. Ask for an upper floor facing away from Senapati Bapat Marg.

More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Mahim page.

What it costs

We do not hold a live rate for Hotel Al Saudia at the moment. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.

November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

What guests say

3.8/5 from 12 reviews · collected through the booking feed, shown as written.

Rooms are recently renovated and more modern and immaculate. Room service guys are friendly and make you feel special. Location is most convenient and accessible towards North and South of Mumbai. Newly inaugrated underground metro station is half a minute walk from this hotel. I forgot to take more photos Nearby…

I recently stayed at this hotel in a Standard AC room, paying ₹3,800 for one night, and I must say it was the worst experience I've ever had. Air Conditioning Issues: The air conditioner was practically non-functional, emitting only noise without providing any cooling. It seemed to be less than 1 ton in capacity and…

Hotel was under renovation this month, which wasn't ideal. To make matters worse, and good and clean. I'd booked a non-AC room but was given an old room with a bed that was ridiculously uncomfortable.
