Cluster your search along RC Marg, Chembur Naka and the Eastern Express Highway service road, where mid-range business hotels run ₹2,800–₹6,000 a night with breakfast and parking — the same standard costs ₹12,000 in Worli. Serviced apartments around Diamond Garden and Sindhi Society go for ₹45,000–₹80,000 a month and suit long postings on the eastern corridor. The best rooms are the ones facing the golf club or the garden rather than the highway; ask directly, because listings do not distinguish. Avoid the very cheap lodges immediately outside Chembur station on the Harbour line side, where rooms are ₹1,200 but the lanes are unlit and the train noise starts at 4.30am. Also avoid anything advertised as Chembur that is really in Mankhurd or Govandi; the connectivity story does not hold there.

This property shouldn't be called as hotel, it's merely a lodge where one can only sleep and use the washroom max. Upon entering the receptionist delivered a cold welcome and stated one bizarre rule that visitors not allowed. Even though the room is small, it was a comfortable stay. The toilet was clean and hygienic. There was a problem with the hot water tap in my room (room No. 203). Staff behaviour was good. Recommended for solo travelers and families for short stays and budget friendly.Sudhir Nayak · 4/5
