In the old town around Talao Pali and Gokhale Road, small hotels sit at ₹2,000–₹4,000 with real neighbourhood life outside the door but no parking whatsoever. Long-stay flats in Vartak Nagar and Hiranandani Estate go for ₹35,000–₹65,000 a month. Avoid rooms facing the Eastern Express Highway — six lanes of night trucks — and avoid Ghodbunder Road addresses beyond Kasarvadavali unless your work is out there.
