What it is

Guests typically choose Thane for its balance of location and price; Fabexpress New Deepak is a good fit if you want to be near the action in Mumbai.

Because pricing is set live by the hotel and its suppliers, the figure shown here is a recent snapshot; check the current rate for your exact dates before booking.

Where it sits

Fabexpress New Deepak is in Thane, at Plot No. 86 Opp Street Joseph's School, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 15 km from Terminal 2, 2 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 12 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 52 minutes to the airport, 8 minutes to Fort and 43 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

What is included

The property lists 4 facilities. The ones that decide a booking are grouped below; anything unusual — early check-in, a late departure, a desk that takes a laptop — is worth confirming when you book, because listings and reality drift.

Staying in Thane

Three clusters matter. Around the Eastern Express Highway near Cadbury Junction and Korum Mall you get business hotels at ₹3,000–₹6,500 with parking and 10 minutes to Thane station — the most practical choice. Along Pokhran Road and towards Upvan and Hiranandani Estate, quieter properties and serviced flats run ₹4,000–₹8,000 and put you nearer Yeoor and the lakes. In the old town around Talao Pali and Gokhale Road, small hotels sit at ₹2,000–₹4,000 with real neighbourhood life outside the door but no parking whatsoever. Long-stay flats in Vartak Nagar and Hiranandani Estate go for ₹35,000–₹65,000 a month. Avoid rooms facing the Eastern Express Highway — six lanes of night trucks — and avoid Ghodbunder Road addresses beyond Kasarvadavali unless your work is out there.

More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Thane page.

What it costs

We do not hold a live rate for Fabexpress New Deepak at the moment. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.

November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I wish I could give this place zero stars! We booked two rooms, and both were infested with bed bugs. It was absolutely disgusting and made our stay unbearable. To make things worse, even though the hotel supposedly offers breakfast in our pacakage, they denied us breakfast…

Awful avoid at all costs. They claimed not to have my reservation booked through hotels.com, so I did not stay here. Then they ripped me off for the money and refused to refund me. Absolutely awful customer care and service, do not stay here you will be conned out of money

I recently stayed at Hotel Deepak under the Fab Hotels chain, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. To start with, the air conditioning in my room was faulty, leading to water leakage throughout my stay. This caused an incredibly uncomfortable and damp environment, making it impossible to relax. As if…
