What it is
The surrounding Santacruz district is one of the most convenient parts of Mumbai to stay in, with restaurants, cafés and transport links close by.
Where it sits
Hotel Air View is in Santacruz, at 12Th Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Rd, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 2 km from Terminal 2, 16 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 3 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 8 minutes to the airport, 55 minutes to Fort and 10 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.
What is included
The property lists 7 facilities. The ones that decide a booking are grouped below; anything unusual — early check-in, a late departure, a desk that takes a laptop — is worth confirming when you book, because listings and reality drift.

Staying in Santacruz
For work, book Santacruz East along Nehru Road or off the Western Express Highway near the domestic terminal: full-service hotels at ₹11,000 to ₹20,000, airport shuttles, and BKC ten minutes away. The mid-market strip on Nehru Road towards Vile Parle offers ₹5,500 to ₹9,000 with breakfast and is fine. For a quieter, cheaper stay pick Santacruz West around Khira Nagar, Podar Road and the Juhu Road end — ₹4,000 to ₹7,000 in small properties, tree-lined lanes, and an easy walk to the station. Avoid the immediate Vakola stretch along the highway service road: it is loud in three directions and the older lodges there are poorly kept. Avoid anything advertised as near the Milan Subway during June to September. Whichever side, confirm the address contains the word East or West before you pay, because the two are 3 km and one very congested underpass apart.
More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Santacruz page.
What it costs
We do not hold a live rate for Hotel Air View at the moment; hotels in Santacruz on our list start at about ₹8,400 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.
November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.
