For a quieter, cheaper stay pick Santacruz West around Khira Nagar, Podar Road and the Juhu Road end — ₹4,000 to ₹7,000 in small properties, tree-lined lanes, and an easy walk to the station. Avoid the immediate Vakola stretch along the highway service road: it is loud in three directions and the older lodges there are poorly kept. Avoid anything advertised as near the Milan Subway during June to September. There is a reason why this place is 3.1 star right now. Fabhotels are hitting a rock bottom with their services and it shows. There were bed bugs and cockroaches all around the place. We were planning to stay for whole day but it was so disgusting that we had to leave in Two hours. Never booking fabhotelsabhinay kumar · 1/5
Didn’t think it was as bad as some people had reviewed. It was a small room but had a big double bed, bathroom was pretty clean with hot running water and decent AC. No windows so not much ventilation but in Mumbai, it’s hardly fresh air anyway! The main gripe is the noise from the staff and other guests of the hotel…Katie Melville · 4/5
Room nice, clean & spacious in pocket friendly budget. Straight from Vakola signal towards kalina The only issue was room service, no towels-np soaps. Even called reception but didn't get anything, just was asked to wait and waited for hours. Eventually checked out.darshan rawal · 3/5
