Royal Dormitory is in Powai, at Chimat Pada Road Sarfraz Khan Chawl, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 2 km from Terminal 2, 19 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 4 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 8 minutes to the airport, 67 minutes to Fort and 16 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. Staying in Powai

Split the decision by which side of the lake you need. For lake views and conference space, the Renaissance and Lakeside Chalet on Adi Shankaracharya Marg and the Westin at Hiranandani Business Park run ₹9,000–₹16,000 a night midweek, more when a convention fills the ballroom. For eco-certified and quieter, Rodas and Meluha The Fern sit inside Hiranandani Gardens off Central Avenue at ₹6,500–₹11,000. Long-stay consultants should look at serviced apartments around Powai Plaza and Nahar Amrit Shakti in Chandivali, where a month runs ₹65,000–₹1,10,000. Avoid the very cheap guesthouses along Saki Vihar Road near the Chandivali junction — they are ₹2,500 rooms with no lift, generator noise and an unlit 700 m walk to any restaurant. Also avoid anything advertised as Powai but with a Vikhroli or Kanjurmarg address; the highway crossing is miserable on foot.
