What it is
The surrounding Powai district is one of the most convenient parts of Mumbai to stay in, with restaurants, cafés and transport links close by.
Rates shift with the season and with demand, so the live price on the booking page is always the one to trust — tap through for tonight's or your dates' real availability.
Where it sits
Hotel Powai Palace is in Powai, at Saki Vihar Rd Gala F 12 Pankaj Bldg., Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 4 km from Terminal 2, 21 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 6 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 15 minutes to the airport, 72 minutes to Fort and 22 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

Staying in Powai
Split the decision by which side of the lake you need. For lake views and conference space, the Renaissance and Lakeside Chalet on Adi Shankaracharya Marg and the Westin at Hiranandani Business Park run ₹9,000–₹16,000 a night midweek, more when a convention fills the ballroom. For eco-certified and quieter, Rodas and Meluha The Fern sit inside Hiranandani Gardens off Central Avenue at ₹6,500–₹11,000. Long-stay consultants should look at serviced apartments around Powai Plaza and Nahar Amrit Shakti in Chandivali, where a month runs ₹65,000–₹1,10,000. Avoid the very cheap guesthouses along Saki Vihar Road near the Chandivali junction — they are ₹2,500 rooms with no lift, generator noise and an unlit 700 m walk to any restaurant. Also avoid anything advertised as Powai but with a Vikhroli or Kanjurmarg address; the highway crossing is miserable on foot.
More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Powai page.
What it costs
We do not hold a live rate for Hotel Powai Palace at the moment; hotels in Powai on our list start at about ₹8,900 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.
November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

Worst and pathetic experience with this hotel. They don't give priority to offline bookings. The day before my booking I called them to confirm my booking. The lady on call said it's confirmed. When the day of my booking I reached there the guy was on the desk saying there is no vacant room you have to wait for 3…saqib Shaikh · 1/5
This is a budget friendly hotel in the Powai area. I basically had nothing major to complain about, the rooms were just decent enough, AC was running, Wifi was running, bed seemed okish, bathrooms were clean and so were the blankets. However, my check-in time was 12pm and my room wasn't ready even till 3.00pm, this…Abhishek Kulkarni · 3/5
1500rs for one night and you get A tiny room consisting of a double sized bed and bathroom only. The lights in the room are very dim. Network issues are present in the rooms. You'll have to leave your rooms to make a phone call. Considering the status of powai, 1.5k for a room for a night is decent provided you get…Abdulla Ibji · 3/5
