CBD Belapur, 12 km south, is cheaper again and better if your meetings are at the corporate park there. Long-stay serviced flats in Sectors 9 to 17 rent at ₹35,000–₹70,000 a month, real value by Mumbai standards. Avoid the cheapest lodges immediately behind Vashi station, which are ₹1,500 rooms with paper walls, and avoid booking anything in Kharghar or Panvel if your work is in Vashi itself.

Rooms are quite small and cozy but totally acceptable to just spend a night here. AC works, toilets and bed are decently clean. The cupboard could've been cleaner, and towels were not provided one day but were given the next. Very worth the money spent. It's cheap and decent enough.
