The reliable band is Sector 30A and Sector 17 near Vashi station, where four-star business hotels run ₹4,000–₹8,500 a night including breakfast and parking, and the top of the market — Four Points and the better Vashi properties — tops out around ₹11,000. Palm Beach Road addresses in Sanpada and Nerul cost a little more and buy you creek views and quiet, but you will need a cab for everything. CBD Belapur, 12 km south, is cheaper again and better if your meetings are at the corporate park there. Long-stay serviced flats in Sectors 9 to 17 rent at ₹35,000–₹70,000 a month, real value by Mumbai standards. Avoid the cheapest lodges immediately behind Vashi station, which are ₹1,500 rooms with paper walls, and avoid booking anything in Kharghar or Panvel if your work is in Vashi itself.

First thing you would notice is everything is old in the hotel. My room had broken chair, broken ironing board and even the shower couldn’t hold the water pressure. The hotel was excellent through and through. The large breakfast and dinner buffets both had good variety day to day, and were hot and delicious. The room accommodations and service were comfortable (good A/C, lots of bottled water, coffee, tea, comfortable bed with clean sheets). Surrounding area is clean and safe.…Cole C · 5/5
They are doing construction work in rooms above and next to rooms where guests are staying. They have made no effort to dampen the sound or isolate the area. You can feel the drilling in your bones. Unless you enjoy being tortured, do not stay here. And the best part is we can’t call reception to complain because the…guha athreya · 1/5
