Budget hotels cluster within 500 m of Lonavala station at ₹2,000 to ₹3,500, walkable to trains and chikki shops, but the road noise from the old highway is real. Avoid rooms directly on the old Mumbai–Pune highway strip unless you sleep through trucks. Avoid weekend rates full stop where you can — Friday-to-Sunday pricing in monsoon runs 60 to 80 per cent above midweek. And confirm whether your resort's advertised lake view is Tungarli, Lonavala Lake or a distant reservoir; the wording is loose.

The rooms are very good. A little smaller than expectation. But will be good enough for a short trip. Also the breakfast should be wholesome but they offer only 1 item which is not the case compared to other treebo hotels. Can improve on that.
