What it is

Guests typically choose Lonavala for its balance of location and price; Hotel Pearl View is a good fit if you want to be near the action in Mumbai.

Where it sits

Hotel Pearl View is in Lonavala, at Lgc 4 1 2 Indira Nagar Lbs Kurla Marg Kurla West, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 2 km from Terminal 2, 15 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 1 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 8 minutes to the airport, 54 minutes to Fort and 5 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

What is included

The property lists 3 facilities. The ones that decide a booking are grouped below; anything unusual — early check-in, a late departure, a desk that takes a laptop — is worth confirming when you book, because listings and reality drift.

Staying in Lonavala

Split the decision by purpose. For conferences and larger offsites, the Tungarli and Aamby Valley road belt above town has the big resorts — ₹8,000 to ₹22,000 a night with meal plans, own generators, and the space for breakout rooms. For couples and small groups, the Lonavala–Khandala road and the Rajmachi Point side have quieter boutique places and villas at ₹5,000 to ₹12,000. Budget hotels cluster within 500 m of Lonavala station at ₹2,000 to ₹3,500, walkable to trains and chikki shops, but the road noise from the old highway is real. Avoid rooms directly on the old Mumbai–Pune highway strip unless you sleep through trucks. Avoid weekend rates full stop where you can — Friday-to-Sunday pricing in monsoon runs 60 to 80 per cent above midweek. And confirm whether your resort's advertised lake view is Tungarli, Lonavala Lake or a distant reservoir; the wording is loose.

More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Lonavala page.

What it costs

We do not hold a live rate for Hotel Pearl View at the moment; hotels in Lonavala on our list start at about ₹2,000 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.

November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

Water was dripping right onto the bed from the ceiling. I told the management to fix it but nothing changed. The room service was slow, but the food was decent. Since it's close to BKC where a lot of interviews usually take place, this is a decent budget hotel. The guy behind the reception was very casual and gave…

We booked the room 2 times for our visa application, the rooms were new and facilities were good according to the value of rooms , but there are cockroaches and insects in the furniture of the bed , which was disgusting and horrible as well as the AC was not working properly . Toilet was small and not cleaned properly.

Booking online was seamless, and the check-in process was smooth. However, when we arrived, our room was still being cleaned. While the room itself was neat, the bathroom was a different story The room door lock was broken. Instead of addressing the issue, the hotel staff falsely accused us of breaking it and…
