What it is
From here, Mumbai's main attractions — including Karla Caves, near Lonavala — are an easy walk or short ride away, so you spend less time in transit and more time exploring.
Where it sits
Fabexpress Green House is in Lonavala, at Gala No. 1 Next To Rupa Compound, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 2 km from Terminal 2, 16 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 1 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 6 minutes to the airport, 55 minutes to Fort and 5 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

Staying in Lonavala
Split the decision by purpose. For conferences and larger offsites, the Tungarli and Aamby Valley road belt above town has the big resorts — ₹8,000 to ₹22,000 a night with meal plans, own generators, and the space for breakout rooms. For couples and small groups, the Lonavala–Khandala road and the Rajmachi Point side have quieter boutique places and villas at ₹5,000 to ₹12,000. Budget hotels cluster within 500 m of Lonavala station at ₹2,000 to ₹3,500, walkable to trains and chikki shops, but the road noise from the old highway is real. Avoid rooms directly on the old Mumbai–Pune highway strip unless you sleep through trucks. Avoid weekend rates full stop where you can — Friday-to-Sunday pricing in monsoon runs 60 to 80 per cent above midweek. And confirm whether your resort's advertised lake view is Tungarli, Lonavala Lake or a distant reservoir; the wording is loose.
More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Lonavala page.
What it costs
We do not hold a live rate for Fabexpress Green House at the moment; hotels in Lonavala on our list start at about ₹2,000 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.
November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.
