What it is

From here, Mumbai's main attractions — including Mandapeshwar Caves, Borivali — are an easy walk or short ride away, so you spend less time in transit and more time exploring.

Because pricing is set live by the hotel and its suppliers, the figure shown here is a recent snapshot; check the current rate for your exact dates before booking.

Where it sits

Palms Hotel is in Borivali, at Survey No. 169 Royal Palms Estate, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 8 km from Terminal 2, 25 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 11 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 30 minutes to the airport, 90 minutes to Fort and 39 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

What is included

The property lists 14 facilities. The ones that decide a booking are grouped below; anything unusual — early check-in, a late departure, a desk that takes a laptop — is worth confirming when you book, because listings and reality drift.

Staying in Borivali

The practical band is around Borivali station east and the Western Express Highway service road, where business hotels run ₹2,500–₹6,000 including breakfast and parking, and you are 10 minutes from both metro lines and the park gate. On the west side, IC Colony and Eksar offer quieter guesthouses and serviced flats at ₹3,000–₹6,500 with genuine neighbourhood atmosphere but a longer walk to the station. Long-stay apartments in Borivali West and Kandivali rent at ₹30,000–₹60,000 a month. Avoid rooms directly over the station approach road, where hawker noise starts at 5am and the auto-rickshaw stand never stops, and avoid the very cheap lodges in the lanes immediately east of the tracks — ₹1,200 buys a windowless box. Ask whether the hotel is within walking distance of a metro station; several claim it and are 2 km away.

More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Borivali page.

What it costs

We do not hold a live rate for Palms Hotel at the moment; hotels in Borivali on our list start at about ₹5,600 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.

November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

Good location one day party. Food you want to carry here. Other wise they provide you but charges different. We booked villa here. Quite location. For villa they give deposit. And not give you refund. They said something you damaged property or any. So care full when you go here.

Reviewing a hotel that is in shambles, that looked so great in the pics on OYO website, is a diificult a task, because deceptiveness of pics and negative features of the hotel gets overweighed by the good service and courteous behavior of the hotel staff, saving the reputation of the hotel and OYO as well.
