Where it sits

Staying in Borivali
The practical band is around Borivali station east and the Western Express Highway service road, where business hotels run ₹2,500–₹6,000 including breakfast and parking, and you are 10 minutes from both metro lines and the park gate. On the west side, IC Colony and Eksar offer quieter guesthouses and serviced flats at ₹3,000–₹6,500 with genuine neighbourhood atmosphere but a longer walk to the station. Long-stay apartments in Borivali West and Kandivali rent at ₹30,000–₹60,000 a month. Avoid rooms directly over the station approach road, where hawker noise starts at 5am and the auto-rickshaw stand never stops, and avoid the very cheap lodges in the lanes immediately east of the tracks — ₹1,200 buys a windowless box. Ask whether the hotel is within walking distance of a metro station; several claim it and are 2 km away.
More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Borivali page.

This is the hotel something economical in Malad railway station, but it's too difficult for getting a proper parking area. If you come over there you have to park or find another place to park your vehicle. That is the prime disadvantage of this hotel. Beside, in front of the hotel there is a market that will happen…Pampally · 2/5
I had an extremely disappointing stay at Hotel Malad Inn. The receptionist at check-in was rude and had no sense of basic customer service. The room was in horrible condition – the bed had stains, the sheets looked filthy, and the entire room felt unhygienic. The washroom was just as bad – dirty, smelly, and poorly…Noel Ramball · 1/5
I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Malad Inn. The room was dirty and poorly maintained, with an overall sense of neglect. The service was just as bad—unhelpful and unprofessional. What truly shocked me was the presence of cockroaches in the room at night. Some were even crawling on the bed, which was…Ashitosh Patil · 1/5
