What it is
From here, Mumbai's main attractions — including Mahakali Caves, Andheri — are an easy walk or short ride away, so you spend less time in transit and more time exploring.
Where it sits
Hotel Sai Leela Grand is in Andheri East, at Andheri East Rk Mandir Road Kondivita, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 3 km from Terminal 2, 20 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 5 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 10 minutes to the airport, 70 minutes to Fort and 19 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

Staying in Andheri East
Sahar Airport Road, running between the Western Express Highway and Terminal 2, is the premium strip — the Leela, JW Marriott Sahar, Hilton and Novotel, at ₹12,000 to ₹22,000 with proper conference floors, free terminal shuttles and IGBC-standard newer builds if that matters to your travel policy. Chakala and JB Nagar hold the mid-market: Courtyard, ibis, Holiday Inn and a dozen local four-stars at ₹5,500 to ₹9,000, all within eight minutes' walk of a Line 1 metro station. MIDC Central Road and Marol suit anyone with meetings in SEEPZ, at similar rates. Avoid Sakinaka and the far end of Andheri-Kurla Road unless your office is on it: the hotels are cheap at ₹3,500 and the evening journey out of there will cost you the saving in taxi time. Always check the hotel is walking distance from a metro station — in this suburb it is worth more than a pool.

What it costs
We do not hold a live rate for Hotel Sai Leela Grand at the moment; hotels in Andheri East on our list start at about ₹9,200 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.
November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

My experience on my stay in this hotel is not good. The rooms are not clean, plus stinking smell and rooms are too small. The worst part is they confirmed the drop at the international airport but did not had any cabs available waited for 35 mins and eventually booked cab by myself and reached T2 terminal. The staff is fine. Managment is ok. Located in a narrow street nestled among industrial area... rooms are just average a typical budget property. Rooms & bathroom too small. Cleanliness would rate average.. In short if you are budget specific then this is the place.. do not expect too much from the property.Vishal Sharma · 2/5
1/2 * not 1. I stayed on the 7th floor. Room (which I changed, to a room which was also not better.) given to me was small, there was no exhaust fan in any toilet, which was confirmed by the desk, over all not worth it. Breakdown : Rooms - small, Environment - Not peaceful. I could hear people from other rooms, and…Arpit Joshi · 1/5
