Where it sits
Hotel Baba's Residency is in Andheri East, at 2Nd Floor 17 1 Cama Industrial Estate Walbhat Road Goregoan East Mumbai, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 8 km from Terminal 2, 24 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 10 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 27 minutes to the airport, 85 minutes to Fort and 36 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

Staying in Andheri East
Sahar Airport Road, running between the Western Express Highway and Terminal 2, is the premium strip — the Leela, JW Marriott Sahar, Hilton and Novotel, at ₹12,000 to ₹22,000 with proper conference floors, free terminal shuttles and IGBC-standard newer builds if that matters to your travel policy. Chakala and JB Nagar hold the mid-market: Courtyard, ibis, Holiday Inn and a dozen local four-stars at ₹5,500 to ₹9,000, all within eight minutes' walk of a Line 1 metro station. MIDC Central Road and Marol suit anyone with meetings in SEEPZ, at similar rates. Avoid Sakinaka and the far end of Andheri-Kurla Road unless your office is on it: the hotels are cheap at ₹3,500 and the evening journey out of there will cost you the saving in taxi time. Always check the hotel is walking distance from a metro station — in this suburb it is worth more than a pool.
More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Andheri East page.
What it costs
We do not hold a live rate for Hotel Baba's Residency at the moment; hotels in Andheri East on our list start at about ₹9,200 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.
November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

It is absolutely filthy. 3k for 6 hours and you have to stay in a room covered in dust, dirt and stains from God knows what's. I saw a red stain on the towel ans the bed. Change the room but it's the same, dirty over all. There were spit marks near the sink on the wall. Please do not waste your money. Sleeping in a…N KP · 1/5
One of the most pathetic places I have been to in my entire life. No cleanliness, no hygiene. There were chips and biscuit wrappers thrown behind the bed. The room had a rat running around. You can get better hotels at half the price of this one.Ankit Thukral · 1/5
