What it is

From here, Mumbai's main attractions — including Mahakali Caves, Andheri — are an easy walk or short ride away, so you spend less time in transit and more time exploring.

Because pricing is set live by the hotel and its suppliers, the figure shown here is a recent snapshot; check the current rate for your exact dates before booking.

Where it sits

Hotel Aiston Inn is in Andheri East, at Kusum Building Opp. Millonaire Heritage, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 4 km from Terminal 2, 20 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 7 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.

Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 15 minutes to the airport, 72 minutes to Fort and 24 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. These are modelled figures, not measured ones.

What is included

The property lists 6 facilities. The ones that decide a booking are grouped below; anything unusual — early check-in, a late departure, a desk that takes a laptop — is worth confirming when you book, because listings and reality drift.

Staying in Andheri East

Sahar Airport Road, running between the Western Express Highway and Terminal 2, is the premium strip — the Leela, JW Marriott Sahar, Hilton and Novotel, at ₹12,000 to ₹22,000 with proper conference floors, free terminal shuttles and IGBC-standard newer builds if that matters to your travel policy. Chakala and JB Nagar hold the mid-market: Courtyard, ibis, Holiday Inn and a dozen local four-stars at ₹5,500 to ₹9,000, all within eight minutes' walk of a Line 1 metro station. MIDC Central Road and Marol suit anyone with meetings in SEEPZ, at similar rates. Avoid Sakinaka and the far end of Andheri-Kurla Road unless your office is on it: the hotels are cheap at ₹3,500 and the evening journey out of there will cost you the saving in taxi time. Always check the hotel is walking distance from a metro station — in this suburb it is worth more than a pool.

More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Andheri East page.

What it costs

We do not hold a live rate for Hotel Aiston Inn at the moment; hotels in Andheri East on our list start at about ₹9,200 a night. Check the live price before you plan around a number — Mumbai rates move with the trade-fair and wedding calendars, and a room can double in the week of a large event.

November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

Situated in a busy and easy accesible location on the main street, meters away from the metro bridge. Location makes it safe for solo travelers. Entrance is small and maybe hard to find from a moving car. Have to take stairs to reach the first floor where reception is along with 3 other rooms. More rooms are on the…

Please don't even think to book this hotel. Rooms and washrooms are very small. Nearby area is like slum. You will not sleep properly due to continuous sounds of Railways. Cleanliness is also poor. Overall I will not recommend this hotel to Anyone
