Where it sits
Ginger Mumbai Andheri is in Andheri East, at Teligali Parsi Colony Andheri, Mumbai. Straight-line, that is about 3 km from Terminal 2, 20 km from CSMT and the Fort offices, and 6 km from the Bandra Kurla Complex.
Road times in Mumbai are not a function of distance. Modelled at the city-wide average of about 17 km/h, that is roughly 12 minutes to the airport, 69 minutes to Fort and 21 minutes to BKC — add half again in the evening peak, and take the train instead wherever the route allows. Staying in Andheri East
Sahar Airport Road, running between the Western Express Highway and Terminal 2, is the premium strip — the Leela, JW Marriott Sahar, Hilton and Novotel, at ₹12,000 to ₹22,000 with proper conference floors, free terminal shuttles and IGBC-standard newer builds if that matters to your travel policy. Chakala and JB Nagar hold the mid-market: Courtyard, ibis, Holiday Inn and a dozen local four-stars at ₹5,500 to ₹9,000, all within eight minutes' walk of a Line 1 metro station. MIDC Central Road and Marol suit anyone with meetings in SEEPZ, at similar rates. Avoid Sakinaka and the far end of Andheri-Kurla Road unless your office is on it: the hotels are cheap at ₹3,500 and the evening journey out of there will cost you the saving in taxi time. Always check the hotel is walking distance from a metro station — in this suburb it is worth more than a pool.
More on the neighbourhood, including how to move around it and what is worth walking to, is on the Andheri East page.
What it costs
We do not hold a live rate for Ginger Mumbai Andheri at the moment; hotels in Andheri East on our list start at about ₹9,200 a night. November to February is the expensive season and the comfortable one. June to September — the monsoon — is the cheapest, and the rain is less of an obstacle than people expect if you plan around the mornings.

They treat their customers with great care and guide them through everything without any confusion or hassle. I really appreciated that they were genuine and honest from the moment I arrived. As soon as I reached the entrance,…saurabh pandey · 5/5
The room was clean with all the basic amenities. The front office staff were very good and polite... Everything was good... Except the Room Ac was not effective in cooling and also the bed was very soft which was a bit uncomfortable as many don't prefer such soft mattress.H Khan · 5/5
This is no way a 3 star hotel.. it behaves like a youth hostel with own rooms. The rooms are shabby, small, and half things don't work. Our, AC, TV, shower, and flush had some or the other issues even after changing the room. We had checked in late at night 1:00. They said they had a night long kitchen. So we…Kaustav Biswas · 2/5
